<![CDATA[What is HTTPS Bridge?]]> What is HTTPS Bridge? (3248 views)

For secure and easy to use, gotoservers.com maps everything to HTTP protocol, actually HTTPS.

You may know the Reverse Proxy , when we talk about it, usually used for web server. What about other servers, such as FTP server, Telnet Server, VNC server and etc? Because the browser used today is Web Browser, it only good for web server. So gotoservers.com creates free "browsers" for each type of server, they are FTP Client, Telnet Client, VNC Viewer and SSH client. Gotoservers.com creates an unique data channel for each type of browser over Remote Agent. The Remote Agent works as an Reverse Proxy, accept and send requests/data. We called the Reverse Proxy for all kind of servers as HTTPS Bridge.

So when you type your url something like http://mysubdomain.gotoservers.com/ftp , it will show a default "FTP browser", FTP Client java applet, so you can access your FTP server.

You also can integerate all of "Browsers" into your page, we are working on final stage and make formal document for integeration.

We are working on other functions, such as port forward etc.
